Training and Initial Studies
Alain van Havre began his design studies at the Hogeschool voor Wetenschap & Kunst. The education he received here shaped his understanding of design and his aesthetic sense. Throughout his education, he took part in various projects and had the opportunity to explore different aspects of design.
Following his graduation, van Havre, who focused particularly on wooden furniture design, gave his career a significant direction through his collaborations with Ethnicraft. Among his early projects was the design of functional and visually appealing furniture, with a focus on the aesthetic use of natural materials.
