The rug’s single rounded corner gives it a unique character and a dynamic expression in any setting. The rug’s base is made from 100% cotton, bonded with synthetic latex to ensure it lies flat on the floor.

Founded in 2006 in Milan, Italy, by designers Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto, it is a multidisciplinary design studio. The studio is known for its innovative projects in many fields, such as interior design, product design, creative direction and visual arts. Studiopepe produces emotional, poetic and bold projects with a strong conceptual approach. By blending art, design and architecture in their work, they aim to create functional yet aesthetically striking products.
Training and Initial Studies
Arianna Lelli Mami studied interior and product design at the Politecnico di Milano. During this period, she focused on the balance between aesthetics and functionality in interior design. Before founding Studiopepe, Arianna worked in various design studios, specialising in interior and furniture design.
Chiara Di Pinto studied at IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Milan and began her career in graphic design and art direction. Her desire to explore the boundaries between art and design has been a key factor in bringing her creative vision to Studiopepe.
The duo combined their education and experience in different disciplines to establish Studiopepe. From its very first projects, Studiopepe began producing work that transcended the boundaries of interior design alone, intersecting with various disciplines such as art, fashion and graphic design.
Design Philosophy
Studiopepe’s design approach is based on history, symbols and material richness. In their designs, they place great importance not only on form and function, but also on the story behind the objects. The duo argues that design is not merely about creating a physical object, but also about creating an experience and emotion. The materials and colour palettes they use combine timelessness and modernity. Additionally, geometric forms and rich textures are among the characteristic features of their designs.
