Dots Ahşap Askı – Tasarımcısı Lars Tornøe Hakkında
Norveçli bir endüstriyel tasarımcıdır ve modern İskandinav tasarımının dikkat çeken isimlerinden biridir. Tornøe, mobilya ve aksesuar tasarımlarında sade, işlevsel ve zamansız estetik anlayışıyla öne çıkar. Tasarımlarında form ve işlevselliği dengelemeye büyük önem veren Tornøe, özellikle The Dots adlı askılık koleksiyonu ile dünya çapında tanınmıştır.
Training and Initial Studies
Lars Tornøe, 2006 yılında Bergen Academy of Art and Design (Kunst- og designhøgskolen i Bergen) okulundan mezun olmuştur. Norveç’in en saygın tasarım okullarından biri olan bu akademide, ürün ve endüstriyel tasarım üzerine eğitim almıştır. Eğitim sürecinde, minimalizm ve İskandinav tasarım felsefesinin temellerini öğrenmiş ve bu anlayışı tasarımlarına yansıtmaya başlamıştır.
Tornøe, kariyerine tasarımcı olarak adım attıktan sonra, kısa sürede Norveç tasarım sahnesinde adını duyurmuştur. İlk çalışmalarında, mobilya ve aksesuar tasarımına yoğunlaşan Tornøe, hem yerel hem de uluslararası markalarla işbirlikleri yaparak kendini geliştirmiştir.
